The Race for Bandwidth
At the start of the 20th century, you might have had a
telephone in your house, but no other communication
device. At the close of the 20th century, many people use
a pager, television, AM radio, FM radio, CD player,
modem, standard phone, and a cell phone all in one day.
Each of these devices uses a different bandwidth. Will all of them ever be
able to communicate together?
The Race for Bandwidth
explores this and many other questions.
